Mentee Contract Terms

Introduction

Welcome to mentor.mymivant.com By participating in our mentorship programs, you agree to be bound by these Mentee Contract Terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not participate in our programs.

Definitions

  • Company: Refers to McAnderson Associates Limited.
  • Services: Refers to all mentorship programs and related services provided by the Company.
  • Mentee: Refers to individuals who receive mentorship services through the Company’s platform.
  • Mentor: Refers to individuals who provide mentorship services through the Company’s platform.

Mentee Responsibilities

As a mentee, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration and participation in our programs.
  • Be respectful and professional in all interactions with your mentor and other participants.
  • Actively participate in mentorship sessions and complete any agreed-upon tasks or assignments.
  • Communicate promptly with your mentor regarding scheduling and availability.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information shared by your mentor and other participants.

Services Provided

The Company offers various mentorship programs, including but not limited to:

  • Premium Monthly Mentorship: Includes regular, scheduled mentorship sessions.
  • Standard Monthly Mentorship: Includes regular, scheduled mentorship sessions.
  • Premium One-off Mentorship: Includes a single, scheduled mentorship session.
  • Standard One-off Mentorship: Includes a single, scheduled mentorship session.

Code of Conduct

  • Respect and Professionalism: Mentors and mentees are expected to treat each other with respect and professionalism at all times. This includes being punctual for scheduled sessions, actively listening, and providing constructive feedback. Discrimination, harassment, or any form of unprofessional behavior will not be tolerated.
  • Confidentiality: All information shared during mentorship sessions must remain confidential. Mentors and mentees should respect each other’s privacy and not disclose any personal, professional, or proprietary information without explicit permission. This ensures a safe and trusting environment for open communication.
  • No Pitching: The mentorship program is focused on learning and development, not on business promotion. Mentors and mentees must refrain from pitching their own services, products, or business opportunities during sessions. This maintains the integrity and purpose of the mentorship relationship, ensuring it remains a supportive and educational experience.
  • Commitment to Growth and Learning: Both mentors and mentees should commit to the continuous growth and learning process. Mentees are encouraged to actively engage, ask questions, and apply feedback, while mentors should provide guidance, support, and resources to facilitate development. Regularly setting and reviewing goals ensures progress and accountability in the mentorship journey

Compensation and Fees

Mentees are required to pay the agreed-upon fees for the mentorship services. Fees are non-refundable except in cases where the Company is unable to provide the agreed-upon services.

Scheduling and Attendance

Mentees are responsible for scheduling and attending mentorship sessions. If you need to reschedule or cancel a session, please notify your mentor at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the session without a refund.

Learning Path and Feedback

Mentees agree to follow the learning path created in collaboration with their mentor and the Mivant team. This learning path serves as a guide for monthly classes/subscription. Feedback and progress reports may be provided by the mentor to ensure the learning path meets the mentee’s needs.

Confidentiality

ll information shared during mentorship sessions is confidential. Mentees agree not to disclose any confidential information to third parties without the prior written consent of the Company and the mentor.

Termination

The Company reserves the right to terminate or suspend your participation in the mentorship programs at its sole discretion, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Mentee Contract Terms.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall McAnderson Associates Limited be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your participation in our mentorship programs.

Governing Law

These Mentee Contract Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Mentee Contract Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new terms on our website. Your continued participation in our programs after any changes indicates your acceptance of the new Mentee Contract Terms.
